Environmentalists push for removal of internal combustion engines

Is it now game over for the internal combustion engine in Europe? Earlier this week, the EU governments agreed to end sales of polluting cars and vans by 2035. This will have a huge impact already today since all big investments and development resources will now be steered away from ICE (internal combustion engine) cars – and into the EV sector.

Now that the transport industry is finally turning its back on fossil fuels, the oil companies are shifting focus to the plastic industry, which will affect what we wear.

The good news is that more and more companies and people are continuing to develop and implement climate solutions to reduce emissions and increase sustainability. We will solve the climate crisis, but we need to speed up change.
